While in Zihuatanejo, tourists can quite easily find limited luxury options with quite a low cost as compared to Ixtapa.

With the passage of time, Zihuatanejo is getting more popular among tourists. So, the Mexican government is constructing highways to bear the burden of increasing traffic. Further resorts, hotels and shopping centers are also in the process of development in Zihuatanejo.
