Vacation in Acapulco

Acapulco is located near the Pacific coast of Mexico. It is a place that is famous all over the world for the comfort it provides its guests.

“The Costera” is a famous busy street in Acapulco. Every tourist will pass here no matter whether you are going for a swim, shopping, eating out or partying. This is the center and main hub of the city.


“Zocalo” is the city’s square where a tourist can meet the natives, and this place has a flavor of old Mexico. A visitor can experience tranquility here as this place, with its mango and giant rubber trees, has nothing in common with the hustle bustle of city life.


You can also visit the cathedral which was built in 1930 as a set for a movie.


The fort of Fuerte de San Diego, which was built in 18th century, houses a museum and relics of Mexican past. This is another attraction which draws visitors.


Acapulco has many, beaches which a tourist can visit. Playa Condesa is a favorite of tourists. Since it is near shopping malls, you can go shopping if you get tired of chilling out at the beach.


Playa Icacos is a beach which with its hotels and condos, and is a calm beach. Playa Diamante, Playa Revolcadero and Playa Puerto Marques are some other beaches you can visit. These are quite similar to the beaches at Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo.


Zihuatanejo's sheltered bay, which is often visited by cruise ships making their way to tourist destinations up and down the Pacific coast, offer various beaches of varying characteristics: fisherman's walk, along the main town beach, is lined with a number of small restaurants from which one can look across the bay and watch the movement of the townsfolk, fishermen and boats.
