Traveling During the Right Season:


Going to the right place in the right season is a point worth giving some thought. Generally, Mexican climate is divided in two parts; the higher and the lower. Higher season begins in December from the 20th and moves on till Easter.


The lower season starts after Easter and continues till mid December. During the low season, which is till June, the prices drop by 20% to 40%. This is the ideal time to go to beaches, as the temperature is just right at this time. From July till August, the prices rise, and in Easter they reach their acme.



    Requirements for entering Mexico:

  • Passports for U.S. citizens: for U.S. citizens
  • Original birth certificates: required for a U.S. citizen
  • Canadian citizenship: for Canadians.
  • Student’s visas and business visas: for students and businessmen.
  • Tourist cards: for tourists only.
  • Embassies and consulates:

It is better for you to consult your tour consultant from a consulate. They give you a list of important numbers for emergencies.  

 

Driving:


It is common to travel to Mainland Mexico by road. If you have your private car you will need the following documents.

 

·        A valid car driving license

·        Current or original car title

·        A valid international major credit card

·        Original immigration document.

·        A promissory note of returning to your country with your vehicle

·        Temporary importation application

 

Money fluctuation:

In Mexico, money fluctuation takes place on daily basis. Therefore, tourists are advised not to exchange all their currencies at the same time.


Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo is also a great place to visit while you are in Mexico.
